I have a factory that’s pumping out Cars.  Well…pumping out cars very slowly—3 per day.  My inventory for the three car components (car body, car engine and wheel body) are all at 100%, so I don’t think there’s a slowdown there.  On the Demand/Selling Capacity/Used Capacity diagram, I see demand way in excess of selling capacity, and selling capacity much higher than used capacity.  My factory had not been paying for training.

What affects used capacity?  There is a ratio when I look up “car” in the wiki that shows how many units produce a car…but there are more than three times this many components in the inventory.  In other words, I guess that since the selling capacity is higher than my used capacity, I’m confused about why my production is so low, and what I can do to increase it.  Also, this would be a great addition to the wiki for products—what the maximum production units is for a particular product.  In my example, I’m not sure if 3 cars or 4 motorcycles per day is normal, and if I should just build more factories to pump up my production or if there is something I can do with setup to use my factory more effectively.

Thanks! smile

What i believe is that the production speed is not affected bye the demand etc. i believe that the production speed is fixed and can only be changed by training.

and that the demand/ selling capacity/ used capacity is for the shops. u can increase your used capacity by increasing the price of the car and keeping the same number being supplied or, you can keep the same price and increase the supplies of cars.

with increasing price you can go up to a certain point to were you are making a lower profit then if you would be increasing the number of cars being sold, so the best idea is to keep everything balanced out,

the best way is trail end error.

That’s right.

Price has nothing to do with demand, selling capacity or used capacity. Demand shows the total demand over the last 7 days. Demand is simply the volume of units your buyers ordered from your unit. Selling capacity how many units your unit can sell over 7 days. Used capacity shows the number of units sold over the last 7 days.
