So, you have to wait for the first to be complete before the second, third, and so on can start?

No, not at all.  You should be able to build more than one at the same time.  I for example built 5 factories simultaneously.  When you build the unit from the company screen you should be able to see the units queued in the Actions screen

I finally refreshed the Firefox window instead of the little game windows, and that worked.  I can now see my progress.  Thanks for the help!

I never got the chance to cancel that stock purchase, but I don’t see where I own any stock besides my own company.  If the purchase had gone through, would it show on my player window on the “stocks” tab?

yes it should, you can check your messages in the information ==> messages, to see if you have purchased the stocks or not.

According to my messages, I did buy the stock.  But I still can’t figure out how to bring up a list of stocks I own.  When I click on the “stocks” tab under my player window, the only thing listed is the stock from my own company.  I’d like to see what else I own and to check on whether it’s gone up in value or not.  I also will eventually want to sell it.  How can I do those things?

I can’t even find “MAVT” on the Stock Market list.  So I can’t see its value there, either.

Hi, It should appear in the stocks tab, check in your player window then go to stocks, if it is not there, you may have bought it using your company.
So open player window then select your company, then click on stocks.

According to your stock MAVT, I checked it, and it is in the stock market, here are your numbers:
Price: 109.94
Equity/share: 257.07

you can check on these results also, when you open your company from your player window, such information should appear.

Thanks, Farahat.  I finally found it, too.  I knew the company started with an “S”, but they’re not completely alphabetical.  Geez…

Anyway…may have purchased the stocks with my company.  But I still can’t pull it up under either of the stock windows.  I can’t remember what I paid for it because I thought it would be tracked somewhere.  And now I can’t sell it even if I want to because I can’t seem to find it.  Is it not showing because I don’t own 5%?  I seem to remember a thread somewhere about stock not showing when ownership is less than 5%.  Help!

your welcome, yeah they are not alphabetical,  you can sort them by clicking on ticker in the stockmaket.

Yeah your stocks will not appear at the company if you own less than 5%, however if that is the case, I belive the admin should allow you to see the stocks at least at your player’s tab so that you can track your stocks.

I really like how your company is growing and your strategy, hope I can catch up soon smile
Cheers!

Well, I’m not sure if I’m really growing or if my strategy will work…or whether or not I really have a strategy just yet.  I just started yesterday, and I still can’t find half of what I need.  But thanks.  I hope we both start growing.

Now I need to ask the admin if he can allow me to view my stocks.

There are 2 windows which have the 5% view limit :
- the stock window / shareholders tab shows only shareholders owning at least 5% of the company
- if you open a company you don’t control (again through the stock window) and go to its stocks tab, you’ll see only holdings larger than 5%

If you control a company you can go to its stocks tab and you’ll see all stocks (there is no 5% limit here). Same thing in the player window / stocks tab.
