I tried to create a new company using a wholely owned subsidary (DrsHoldings20) and also wasn’t given the opportunity to decide percent of ownership and the price per share of the issue.

All Star: It was a one time problem or are you getting this regularly ?

drjandmh: I’ll investigate.

drjandmh: I’ve not been able to reproduce the error - do you still have problems?

Yes, I just get to name the co. and give it a stock symbol. ( I mispelled the companies name drsholdings20 should be dtsholdings20).

I cleared cache….nothing. I added 1 million in cash to unit to make sure it wasn’t due to shortage of funds.  I’ll keep thinking and looking to see if I’m overlooking anything.

I have the same problem myself, if I don’t remember bad I read somewhere in here that when you created a company you were able to decide how many shares to issue and what price should each share have, but those fields are blank for me, all I get to choose is the name of the company and the stock ticker.
I have no idea what the problem might be, but it seems to be happening to several of us.

I’m using Windows Internet Explorer8 on Windows Vista Home Premioum. I still don’t get any options other than naming company and giving it a stock symbol.

I got google chrome and that ends my problem of not getting to create subsidaries. On chrome, I can’t use the forums…none of the bottom of the box options are there. i.e. Profile PM Edit Quote and Fast Reply Post Reply New Topic

Ok it’s an issue related to Internet Explorer. Corrected now.

Sorry for the delay.

I strongly recommend Firefox. Get it here: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox

I’ll check the Google Chrome asap.
