Anyone have any ideas?  Need an investor?

I haven’t had enough time to get to know how to make a profit in the game yet… But if you figure it out I will gladly invest in your company.

Well the basic strategy to make money in the game is this one:

1. Build a factory and manufacture finished products.
- You can buy raw material from mines/sawmills/oil wells
- You can buy semi-finished products from other factories

2. Build a store and sell your finished products to the population.

Do we need to create a company first?  Or is that only for opening subsidies?

If you want to build a business yes you need to create a company first. From the company window you’ll be able to build business units…

If you don’t want to have a business with factories, stores, ... you can also just play the stock market.

Can you briefly explain how Exploration business including answering the following:

1.  How long do they take to be created;

2.  What do you do once they’ve been created; and

3.  After they locate a resource, can they be used again, or do you need to build a new one for subsequent exploration?

You wait.
Time needed to discover a new resource is not fixed and there is nothing you can do to accelerate the process.
Note that it can be longer if you search for a natural resource in a non usual country.

When a resource is discovered you have up to 180 days to buy it. During these 180 days you are the only player able to buy the resource, you have an exclusive buy option on it. After the 180 days the resource is placed on the open resources market.

When the resource is bought, the unit is automatically destroyed.
