Maybe I am just doing something wrong, this is my first attempt at creating a wholly-owned subsidiary. smile

When using “Create a Company” action under the menu of an existing company, the Execute button does not seem to do anything.  Cancel just clears the fields but doesn’t actually make the panel go away.

IE reports an error with these details when Execute is pressed:
Line: 2
Char: 34132
Error: Exception thrown and not caught
Code: 0
URL: http://game.simbusiness.com/user/login

Thanks for looking into it!

Can you please try to
1. logout
2. clear your browser cache
3. login
4. try again

I know there are issues with IE but this feature should work well as it has been tested extensively…

After logging out, clearing all cache/temp files/cookies/etc, logging in it’s still happening.  It also happens on Firefox as well (although it was not reporting anything specifically wrong).  The behavior is the same on both browsers.

The parameters I’m using for the fields are:
“Summerland Vineyards”
“SUMV”

Neither of these names/symbols are already in use…one thought was that my entries were failing field validation or something.

It seems to be a bug happening only with the “new subsidiary” window.
Added to my bugs list. Will correct asap.
